The news from our first dry camping trip to Tonkin Reservoir, which is about 6,500 feet in elevation, is that there is no news.  Our pod performed very well.  We used the Ram 1500 for our TV and it got 12.7 MPG on the 160 mile round trip.  That seems pretty good.
A few trout were caught; the weather cooperated; our view was good.  Camping was happy for us.

Looks like a good trip! What is the single opening behind the two water connectors - is that the cleanout for black tank? We don't have that on our older 171.

Thanks for the pictures & glad you had a good time!  No doubt, the first of many.  "Dry" camping is my favorite but, I'm kind of a wimp when it comes to heat.  When it gets hot&sticky, the A/C (electric hookup) is really nice.

Your milage is towards the higher end....most seem to get 10-12mpg.

Congratulations.  Have a lot of fun with it.  We are in the 10 mpg group on our first trip.  Still playing around with overdrive.  Safe Travels.

Regarding mileage. When towing it home from Boise at 65 MPH, it was 9 Mpg and a little. I slowed down to 53 MPH and started doing a bit better with gas mileage.
