Hi,

I just wanted to introduce myself.

I just picked up my new R-Pod 177 from Blue Dog RB in Idaho today. The Blue Dog people were nice. I have been looking at R-Pods online for about two years, and finally decided to take the plunge I plan to use it to visit Yellowstone, Glacier, Cody, Jackson and some other places in the West this summer.

I actually got the R-Pod on an eBay auction Blue Dog had set up. The first time I stepped foot in it was today, and I have to say that I really like it. I am 6'4" and can stand up in it. I might have to sleep at an angle in the bed, but that's OK.

Towing it with a 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser. I towed it to Montana today from Idaho over the pass, and was able to do 55-60 uphill. Not too bad, but nothing like my old F-250.

Looking forward to lots of R-podding!

Welcome to the forum! You will have a great time camping in the Rpod. Your FJ Cruiser and Rpod look very good together.   David

Congrats and welcome!  We picked out our 177 last month, love having a bed but that mattress had to go.  Enjoy!  Something I noticed on our 177 was the tire slanted every so slightly on the side with the slideout and noticed when pulling that the trailer leaned to that one side.  I am curious if you see the same thing, I just sent mine back to the dealer this morning for them to take a look at it.

Our 176 leans a bit on that side as well.  It looks more pronounced though because the fenders aren't even height between the sides.  The fender on the slideout side is mounted a bit lower because of the missing "gutter" on that side for the bug screen.
