Hi, We just pick-up a 173-T auction.  I am not sure how to put up the tent part.  In truth I am not sure I have all the parts.  Most of it makes sense to be, But where the do I attach the poles to the trailer on the inside high part over the couch.  There is bracket with a whole and the polls doesn’t fit tight and the angle doesn’t feel right to me.  What am I missing?

Thanks Chuck and Tammy   Long time campers, R-Pod Owners for One Day

Assuming you are talking about the r-pod's dome, then this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fYsVlCTLNs might help.
For value add I would offer two things:
     1.  On my r-pod the rails were a bit sloppy at the end and so I used a board and hammer (carefully) to tighten them up just a little bit.
     2.  During the walk through the service tech recommended spraying DRY LUBE into the rails on the r-pod to make it easier to slide the (don't have a good word) "rubber strip" into the rpod's rail.
I use Emler's Dry Lube, but there are many others.  http://tinyurl.com/6rz8q2n

I can't help with your question but , I CAN welcome you to the group! Smile  There doesn't seem to be a lot of the "tent" model owners out there but, hopefully one will see your post and lend a hand.  Perhaps a visit to a Pod dealer with one set up might show you what you need to know? Ying Yang

I have a 2010  176T (the newer r-pods may be dif.) and I have 6 "poles".  A single pole attaches to each of the corners on the Tent base via a " rounded " end connector.  Then another pole attaches to each of those poles and into the inside of the R-Pod.   Then there are two poles which go across the inside of the tent (with large "C" clips on their ends) which attaches across to the poles you just installed. They are also attached to the tent roof with velcro strips on the inside roof of the tent.  You expand the length of the side poles to make the tent more tight.

I hope this helps ... Kinda hard to explain without a picture.  I didn't have any instructions either.

PS I assumed the tent was already attached around the edge of the tent base via the surrounding Velcro.
