Marwayne has it! Give 'em a wiggle or two or three, and a yank, they will come out of the square block! Replaced mine with the 10 LED (10 for $30) versions talked about on here a month or so ago. Close to the same color but a little whiter. Thought I would have to yank the fixture off the ceiling, but finally gave in!

They are wedge base bulbs, they just pull out, if not wiggle them a little from side to side while pulling. Here are some ideas for LED lighting.

I am interested in trying 1 or 2 of the light sets with low brightness and warm (2700k) LED's to make it cozy at night watching TV. I'll keep the others as is. But do I get a wrap-around LED 'bulb' or a small downward facing panel(?) with 6 LED's which I think makes sense.
I DON'T know enough about LED's to search for a 'panel' LED .... Is there some nomenclature for a 'panel' LED light?
I've even thought about using a small table lamp and a 40/60 watt bulb to add some ambiance.

Fascinating. I took a look at the bulb in my trailer and they looked like the wedge based (e.g. 921) 12v lights used for landscaping. I couldn't pull mine out as easily as I thought it should come out, and I'm stuck where you are. Before your post I didn't think I had a problem, and now I do. I found this link ... http://www.rpod-owners.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=1330&title=replacing-interior-lights-with-leds ... and it talks about these lights as the 921 types. So I think that's what they are, and they should pull right out. Hopefully an answer will be forthcoming as I need to know too.

Help. It looks simple but HOW do I take the bulb out? I tried pulling on the bulb ... NG. I tried to take out the small block holding the bulb ... NG. I've been known to break things pulling too hard so I decided to take the civilized approach ... and ask . What's the right way?
BTW - after prying off the lens with a screw driver ... it looks like I should have slide the lens to the outside first (to the right in pix).... fortunately no breakage.
