If you do nothing, your propane detector alone will deplete your battery in about two weeks.

Between trips, you should either (1) disconnect your battery or (2) plug in your r-pod.

If you choose to disconnect your battery, you may find installing a cut-off switch to be handy.  They're available at many automotive or marine stores.

If you choose to plug in your r-pod, its really up to you to determine what you turn off.  I'd probably make sure that the fridge was off (unless you want to keep condiments cold between trips) and turn off the water heater (if you've got it on electric), but that'd be about it.  The WFCO will take care of the battery.

Greetings and salutations fellow enthusiasts!  Just returned from our first trip with our 2012 176T.  LOVE IT!  A few questions for the masses...
1.  Should I keep the Pod plugged in to a household outlet via the supplied power chord (and adapter)?
2.  Which switches should I keep on or off with WFCO Ultra III Distribution Center?
I simply want to maintain the battery to maximize it's life.  I have no plans of keeping anything on or running when not in use.  I appreciate any input.

Many thanks.

Tony in Breckenridge.

Think twice.
