Donna and I just got back from a 2 nighter at Hoosier national forest, its 38 miles one way and a great place for short tripping. Wx was perfect, did a lot of walking trying to burn off all the goodies we cooked. you really can eat healthy with fresh foods that taste good, its just easier to ead bad. eg Pizza, bacon, junk food. we gotta eat healthy and walk. Can't take the fishing boat when poddin but we fished at the ramp at Indian Lake and put 21 nice sized red ear in the cooler, sweet, you talk about some good eating, red ear blue gill fried up in Kentucky Colonel's seasoned flour. Go to Kroger buy a box of ky col seasoned flour, mix it with a little beer, make a batter its good on pork chops, fish, its like a $1.39 for a box and is one of the best investements in outdoor cooking I have made. Happy Poddin all.

We got out for our shakedown, and it was a good weekend with the exception of the storm that rolled in early Sunday morning that woke us up.  http://podtastic.info/oconnell.html

We're green with envy.  According to the FR rep our 171 will be buillt on the week of April 30th and off the production line May 4th.  Hope the dealer is on top of it to pick it up and prep it.  We are scheduled for our maiden voyage, (think Titanic, without the drama) May 11th.  Have a pile of "stuff" to put into the trailer including a new mattress.  Will send pictures as they become available.  Enjoy and Safe Travels.

KYMOOSES, its the hilly part of Southern Indiana, HNF, celina lake, Indian lake, tipsaw lake, 3 camp grounds, celina north and south face, tipsaw, I think only about 1/4th have electric, very few electric/water, its also 20 minutes south of Patoka lake, Patoka has over 300 sites, but most are in the middle of a bare field, Yuck. HNF is shady, and in most spots you are lucky to even see another camp site. shady, very tall trees, hiking trails, tipsaw has a sand beach, change house, playground for kids, and they rent kayaks, I brought home 8 9 to 12 inch black crappie last friday, Fish fry time, happy campin

Yes, I feel that dreaded plague called campingitis will be rampant in southern Indiana this weekend.  You must keep away from your coworkers.

T-2 days for us to get ¡Podtástic! and do our spring shakedown.  Can't wait!
