For the book collection, consider a switch to Kindle (Amazon).  You can hold over 1000 books, many are free.

Thinker, you are going to have to get a Kindle and load her down with memory chips, I told Donna I was going to get one of those C.D.s of a fireplace thats plays continuosly and crackles so we could have it on in the evening before bedtime. She threatned me, LOL
