R-Pod caught our attention a couple years ago.
This year we made the move. On October 28 we picked up our 2012 Model 177.
Have taken a shake down cruise, which went well.
The "real thing" begins next week when we R-Pod our way from Seattle to Phoenix, and spend two weeks in AZ -- our great R-Pod adventure.
This is our first ever RV.

Hi and welcome, where are you staying in Az? We live in the area and have camped most places around Az.

Thank you everyone for the WELCOME messages.
We are looking forward to heading out on Friday.
This site sure had been a great help.
I especially appreciate the various check lists.

Barbanjoe: we are staying at Val Vista Village in Mesa, at Val Vista Dr. and Main.
We lived in Mesa then Gilbert for 15 years.

Kinda sounds a bit like us. Had a T@B for 3 years but the Rpods had caught our eye. Loved the T@B but truly needed more space. Sounds like we made the leap at the same time. We towed our new 2012 model 177 HRE in October but unfortunately it got cold and snowy here pretty soon. So, the Pod has been under cover ever since. It's given me a lot of time to work on projects inside during the colder months    ...but we're itching to hook up and go camping !
