The E Train (and E-Pod??) are all set... We are in Site 4. Not on the original reserved list, but Kathy recommended it for me, the camping newbie, and it is adjacent to the other sites.Thumbs Up

Very good, E-train! We're glad you can join us. I believe you make four confirmed pods. If you can let us know a little more about you, we can be a bit less formally anonymous!

Looking forward to it!

I have started to fill in the Event Summary in the space I reserved in post #2.  It is meant to be a quick reference to reduce reading through the entire multi-page thread in case there are any last minute changes of venue or schedule.

Please PM me your Site # once you have confirmed your reservation and I will add you to the list of attendees. If I have not added you in 2 days, please send me another nice PM reminder.

See you all there!

Thanks, Tracy!

Add to post #3 that Eaglesmere is about 10 miles to the west. A cute little artsy town in the middle of the mountains. There are also a number of close by state parks with terrific geologic character, including the 'Grand Canyon of PA'.
We found a neat road house close by the campground entrance called the Sullivan County Roadhouse that has tremendous character and obviously a lot of local characters!

Hope to hear from more podders soon!

This might conflict with my NY state fishing trip on Saranac Lake.  I'll have to touch base with my father and brother and find out for sure.  If it doesn't, then I will be there.

Is anyone interested in getting t'shirts (or similar) made up? Here is a link to something that I found in the forum from 2009..... [I may have some connections.]

Good news.  I've reserved a spot and I'm coming.  I requested number 50, if it is still available or any of the 50s if it isn't.  I plan on coming on Friday (21st) and staying through Monday (24th).  I figure since I am going to be driving two and a half hours, I am going to enjoy a little extra relax time there.  I actually plan on doing this every year since I've gotten to know all of you.  If you guys wanted to do this twice a year, I would be down for it.  Either way, I look forward to meeting all of you.  Smile

Great news, Secretbard,! Looking forward to being with you.

Send a PM to g4royce (Tracy) so your name can be added to the list. We'll start an activities scruple soon.

Thanks Walt.  I look forward to seeing you and the rest of the gang as well.  Big smile

We'll have to have a camp fire, roast marshmallows and tell scary stories.  Shocked
