I know winter is coming, but we just got our 172 10/13, have  made one trip already, now heading out tomorrow morning, I think we can get 2, maybe three trips in before Winterization. going to Clifty Falls near Madison Indiana, about 45 minutes from home. Madison is an old river town upstream from Louisville, ky. Walk around, check out the shops, they have 2 wineries, comfort food. I now know why Donna was so happy with us buying the pod, Walk around, check out the shops, Wineries, comfort food, Yah know I am looking forward to it. Happy Poddin.

Sounds great! I on the other hand will be putting Bounce sheets all over the Pod and putting on the brand new cover tomorrow.

Good for you.  Nice to see another camper that's not so quick to button it up right after labor day.

It looks like you're going to have a wonderful weekend.  ¡Podtástic! is winterized and is hibernating for the winter although we have projects lined up that we're going to do/get done.  We decided to get the axle risers put on, put plexiglas on the bottom portion of the door so that the cats don't paw at the screen, take out the blinds and put in curtains, and put on doors where the netting is at and drill a hole from the television shelf down into the first cubby to store the laptops and run a cord to the outlet.

I think that by the time we get all of that done, we'll be ready to wake her up and be ready to head back on the road again.
Adventures with ¡Podtástic!--Life in a Forest River RPod 182G with Tim and Louis and our two cats, Desi and Lucy. Check our website at http://podtastic.info for information on our journeys.

We had a great time, got home about 1 hr ago, I have the riser kit also but will wait till spring to install them. We have a cat but he wont even go into the pod, he is still checking it out. We are working a a list of things to do before spring and we can Roll Out.
