August 23-26, 2012, at Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park, Union Bay Campground. The Porcupine Mountains Music Festival will be going then, and is about 3/4 mile from this campground.

It sounds good to me!  It doesn't look like I'm going to make it there this year (impending kitchen remodel).
 
Refresh my memory.......does MI only accept reservations 6 months in advance (like IN)?

Yes. So mark your calendars and don't delay when it comes time to reserve your sites.

So far more folks have shown interest in this roundup than the Lake Huron roundup. Right now we've got 3 podders that say they plant to attend. I'll send out reminders when the reservation window opens up for the roundup dates. Keep "liking" that FB page.

If you have ideas for activities or things to see please don't be bashful, post it here or on FB.

Unfortunately reservations must be done on an individual basis, and no more than 6 months in advance. That's the way the MI State Parks do it.

The earliest you can make a reservation for this roundup would be Feb 26. I'll send out a heads up on both forums and the Facebook pages when the time gets closer. When I make my reservation I'll post the info.

Now that it's real (picked up our Pod on Friday) we're in! Really looking forward to it. Lived less than 100 miles from the Festival for 8 years and this will be our first visit to it. First a trip to LA-MS-AL in April. Hoping to get everything figured out in the Pod by then. Lots to remember.
