Ok arrived at Interlake RV Park.

Nice clean park, set in the woods, clean pool, close to Rhinebeck. Easy to get to as well. Took me only 2:20 from Long Island.

Here is our set up.

First time setting up the r dome. Went up pretty easily. However, I have no idea how to install the 'apron screening?  How do you get it around the step and tire? Do I have to cut it into 2 pieces?

Also, suction cups are iffy. Let's see if they hold.  Some big thunderstorms are on the horizon. The sky is getting dark.

. I'll post more pics tomorrow when I get to move around.

One more thing, saw an MPG in the next loop.

Looks like a pleasant space; I hope you don't get too wet!
It sounds like cutting the bottom screen is the way folks do it. We haven't used it yet (fortunately!!) We used duct tape to fasten to the side walls -once the sidewall was clean, it worked well and accommodated the elevation variation on our sites.

You'll be replacing suction cups pretty soon.  Of the original 7 that came with our dome I think we only have 2 left.  The plastic seems really brittle.

Replacements I bought from a hardware store hold better, unfasten easier and are more durable!

Campground filled up last night. Quiet place, must book this place very early if you want a bunch of sites.

Spent a nice relaxing weekend in Rhinebeck. Next trip planned, Schroon Lake in the Adirondacks, Labor Day weekend.

We didn't take too many photos since we've been in this area many many times. http://facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.2182981326347.2120961.1001397336&l=c2231622b1&type=1

We like the look of the Interlake Park, iteach5th, (btw that is alot of punching on an iPad!! ). The other place we were thinking was Lake George or nearby. We went to grad school at SUNY Albany (now University of ...) back in the third quarter of the last century and spent many pleasant (and partying) weekends in the area and the Adirondaks. We think y'all are channeling us or something! Anyway your consideration of the places you see for a group get together would be appreciated. I know there are some upstaters that like the mts on the other forum, maybe we can entice them down to the lower elevations for a roundup! Thanks!

Interlake is nice, mostly season sites. One section set up for rentals. We plan on going up to Schroon Lake to check out another place. I really love the Adirondacks, planty to do and see. Schroon is quieter that Lake George and close enough to visit.
