Yes, the poles are plenty long, they are not fully extended in that picture. I also have the "lift kit" option on my trailer, so it sits 2"-3" higher. I will try to post pictures tonight of the awning in the travel bag.

I took a couple of picture to share. I would also mention that the horizontal poles that go from the camper to the awning are the type that extend and then twist to lock. I had one years ago that were spring loaded and I would much prefer that. The twist to lock is a little awkward and hard to loosen sometimes, but still manageable if the spring loaded cannot be found.

I purchased an awning like yours. I'm wondering how you attach the rafter pole to the rPod. The awning came with a pole holder with screws and I don't want to screw into the trailer. Thanks for your help.

I used the screws with some good RV sealer, but, if I had to do it over, I would try some 3m command stick on's. They are removable and I think would hold it fine.
Good luck, let me know how that works out. Jeff

We are still tweeking it but made one out of a shade sail. We can either use it on the pod or hang it from trees in a campsite. We made slide in clips out of pex tubing for the rail on the pod. I tried to get a photo to upload but it didn't work.

What do you call the rib that slides into slot for the cabana, and where can I purchase it. Any help would be appreciated.

We made little sliders with ropes out of PEX tubing. Had to shave one side but it works great. Each one is about 1.5 inches and they slide in easy. I cannot seem to get photos to load but will try again. The pex cost a couple bucks and we just cut it up.
