Looks great H-P! have a wonderful reunion!
tdrace, we're looking at Huntington Beach SP for a spring break trip next year (Mid-April) and maybe some place else on the coast. Any suggestions or comments on the SPs in SC? |

Well, the Hodge-POD is headed to the mountains of North Carolina on Thursday to camp out in the POD and attend Saturday's family reunion near Hendersonville.
The campground (see link) at http://www.cascadelakerecreationarea.com/ is between 2 mountain lakes, a small one for swimming, and a very large one that runs through the Dupont Forest and finally ends in a cascade of waterfalls around you at the end. (You're not SUPPOSED to boat that far down the lake, but pssst . . . . shhhh . . . . it takes only about an hour to row that far.)
My brother and sister are already camping there, as is our tradition, for the whole week before the reunion. I usually am already there with them, too, but I only just got back from England. So now I have to get the Pod ready to leave on Thursday - luckily I keep it almost ready all the time anyway. Sure hope that since I don't have risers that I won't drag the Hodge-POD on the last little bit up the mountain!
Check out the "gallery" at the above link if you're interested in what it looks like. Some of the pics are of area attractions though.
In anticipation of just Podding along,
Diane
