We're about halfway through the camping season so it's time to issue yourselves a report card on your progress....are you actually getting out there and camping?

I'm running about one trip behind, myself (I wasn't able to get out at all in April).  So far I have spent 12 nights camping but, 16 days of use.  The nights of use are straightforward.  "Days" are a little different.  A typical weekend trip for me is to leave mid-day Friday and return mid-day Sunday.  Holidays might be mid-day Monday or Tuesday.  So, I count the half day on Friday and the half day at the end as one day, as I am using the camper.  Using this, my totals thus far are:
12 nights
16 days
This, over 4 camping outings.

So, I'm going to give myself a "C" and resolve to do better during the second semester!  I've yet to take any week long trips.  I usually try to get in 2.

We are getting out there!  We camped 3 weekends in a row in June.  We are taking it out for a week in August and then again Labor Day weekend.   :)

So far we have spent 9 nights in our pod but we considered them trial runs for our big trip coming up this month.  We leave the same day Tom retires for a long trip to Ontario- July 22 to sometime in early September. We will be home for a week or two then we are heading south for a trip to the Grand Canyon, Vegas and anywhere else down there that takes our fancy.

20 nights so far for us this year.  Our first trip this year was Presiden't Day weekend, Feb 18-20.  It was also our first trip in the pod.  We will be going again this weekend for 3 nights, have Labor Day booked for 3 nights and I'm sure we will work in a few more weekends between now and then.  So totally loving the 'pod.  Really looking forward to Labor Day in hopes we can get a few more 'pods to join us at Kings Mountain State Park.  Still plenty of good sites available.

Over 4th of July we just went over 15 nights out this season so far.

So far it's turning out to be one of our better seasons, we're getting out a lot.  By November according to our current reservations and bookings that we have and still have left to plan we will actually hit 32 nights out in the pod.

I love it, one month of the entire year devoted entirely to the Pod.

So far: 2 nights at relative's farm over Memorial Day weekend. 9 nights in Ontario and 4 nights in KY in June, plus 4 nights at over Independence Day weekend with friends and family at a nearby State Park.

Next up, 2 nights at a county park here in MI in July, then 12 nights or so in the UP of MI at the beginning of Aug. Will probably squeeze another Sept midweek trip in MI somewhere, then a family group camp out 2 nights here at our place at the end of Sept (have pruned some tree branches already, adding more outside electrical outlets today ...) We won't be using the pod, but someone will.

That should give us around 35 or so by October, about the same as the mooses.

0 for me.  But we also just got the camper a couple of weeks ago and I'm still setting it up for use...almost there though.  I got the crib built this weekend.
