Topic: Maybe a new owner Posted: 11 Jul 2011 at 7:54am |
We're not going far .. coz of my work . We stay in Québec.
For the mods , it's interesting to see all the things people have done.
I take notes of few of them .
It's early to tell all the mods I will make coz I don't have my Pod yet lol ..
in 2 longggggg days !!!
On my list ..
Stove cover ; put some hooks at many places; a rug for the exterior step; mud guard ; make holes to help lift the storage area ; install some curtains too .. maybe finish to stain what is not .
Beggin with small things

No worries. The english in your posts makes more sense than a lot of the junk I read online from folks who don't speak any other languages. And at least you have a good excuse. Besides, English is a mess of a language. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it, we just live with it :). I've yet to read one of your posts that I couldn't understand, I'd say your doing well. So, any plans to make modifications to the pod? Planning any trips out to Banff or Jasper?

Hi Damour,
Glad you will be joining us with your R-pod. You will find lots of hints here and some really nice people.
We are starting to see more R-pods in Alberta too.
You have mentioned stock a few times. Is it possible you are antiques dealers like us? We have carried our stock to a show once with the R-pod so far and it worked out well.

We have a capacity of 3500 pounds with the new Santa Fe but the saler tell us to keep a range of 800-1000 pounds for the stock that we bring (including water in tanks).
We are Ok our 171 is only 2100 pounds
I'm so excited I can't wait 'til wednesday !

I pulled my 173 with a 2009 Sante Fe. Never had a problem, I understand the new ones pull even better. Have Fun!

The R-Pod seems to be more and more popular in Québec .
The fact that it's light might contribute to that.
With an average little SUV (we have a Santa Fe 2011) it's perfect
