We know all about head winds and hills. The right lane is where we decided to stay and go for shorter miles per day last year. The trip is the adventure.  GooseSmile

Is your Jeep an I6 of V8?  4x4?

Sounds like some fun driving so far and the wonderful start to your trip.  We tow with a Grand Cherokee also and have wondered how it would handle Yellowstone.  Really look forward to hearing more of your towing stories.

Be safe and enjoy your awesome trip!

On our way from LI, NY to the Grand Tetons. Three hard days of driving and we're in Sioux Falls. My TV ( Grand Cherokee) doing a pretty good job on the flats, we did ok in the hills of PA. Today we drove all day in a stiff prairie headwind through WI, and MN. My gas milage suffered today terribly, Seems whenever I went to pass an 18 wheeler as I got even with the cab, the combination of headwinds and wind off the truck had the effect of a anchor been thrown out the back window. Weird.

Pod is comfy, DW is happy not being in our old PUP.Rapid City tomorrow!
