Glad everything worked well. Your trip looked great and the pod looked really cosy in that last photo.

Grand Pod- Coleman makes that little grill. It's a charm to use and just the right size for 2 people.
Our trip is done.. 4 hard days of driving and we're home on Long Island. The R-Pod performed beyond our expectations. 3 1/2 weeks and over 6000 miles and no problems. We hit the heat wave in the midwest and the AC worked like a charm, The heat worked well when it hit the low 40's in the Tetons. Hot showers every night, and good food. Our Jeep handled the Pod and the big grades of the west well. Just kept it in 4th and watched the RPM's. We averaged about 10MPG, I was driving pretty fast 70- 75 MPH average. Now we plan for our next trip.. possible Adirondacks in a couple of weeks. |

!!! Great pictures. Looks like you are having a wonderful time. Thanks for sharing with us. I have enjoyed following you on this adventure and know your students will benefit from you trip as well.
How did your Jeep handle the mountain passes of Wy? Who makes the Propane grill you are using? Looks like the right size for traveling.
Tom

Traveled the Oregon Trail today through Wyoming and Nebraska. Saw ruts in the trail left by wagons, Registration Cliff, Fort Laramie, and Chimney Rock
http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.2089836197777.2116541.1001397336&l=8c623db12e I think I fixed the access problem to the pictures. Looks like we'll be high-tailing it home through the midwest heat over the next few days. In North Platte, Nebraska- 94 degrees, we miss the 59 degree Tetons! |

We were about 5 feet from that snake! We spent the last 4 days in the Tetons, staying in Colter Bay. There was no WiFi available so I couldn't post. Now we are in eastern Wyoming. Here are the pictures of the Tetons and our trip across Wyoming.

Wow; Looks like you really had a good time in Yellowstone. I hope your doing great; Haven't heard from you in several days, keep those pictures coming.
Hopefully next May I'll be making a trip from FL out west to the Grand Canyon; Yellowstone, Grand Teton and Custer SD. Traveling the southern states first while it is still cool ( hopefully) and getting to Yellowstone around June 1st.
I have really enjoyed your post.
