TV Mount

We have a 176 and I just drilled two holes, one on each side of the plastic stand and screwed two flat headed SS screws through the holes and into the wood shelf. This way I don't worry about the TV shifting during transport. It seems to me the Tv is large enough to be seen from any place in the camper. I also attached a web belt to the back wall which I strap around the Tv when we are moving to take the strain off the plastic stand. I have used holders like the one pictured and they work well if you need that kind of adjustment. We only watch DVD in the evening when we are in bed, so most of the time the Tv is off. Hope you find something that works for you.
The only think I plan to change is to move the speakers to the end of the camper. We are constantly having to change the volume when the air conditioner goes on and off. Now that is a real pain in the dark. Clark.

I'm thinking of Velcroing the remotes by the television.  The one is so small and thin that it makes it very easy to misplace even in ¡Podtástic!

We also have the 182G, and on our recent trip to Montana, we used it in both places (garage & inside). Absolutely love being able to watch a DVD while preparing the food.

 I decided it would be more secure traveling with it inside the 'pod instead of in the garage, so I removed the straps from the back and screwed them into the wood frame surrounding the inside TV mount area. Just to keep it very solid, I cut down a block of styrofoam to put underneath it to keep the TV from jiggling around. I placed that between the bottom of the TV and the lower part of the frame. Works like a charm, and it keeps the TV very secure while traveling over the bumps of all that summer road construction!

@kymooses--We leave the tv in the garage unless we're camping when it will come inside the trailer.  I've not been in a position where there's been a problem using the garage.  It's been a blessing to use it to prep and to do dishes.  

@tpierce220 ~ Do you find yourselves using the mount in the garage much yet?  In our 181g I found that our garage is almost always up against trees at a campground and never much room to even think of using the tv back there.
