I wish to buy a Honda EU2000i generator. Does anyone know of one for sale?

I've been watching Crailist and Ebay, they don't come cheap. I'm more interested in either a EU3000 or two eu2000s with the parallel kit since I want to run the ac which takes more power than a 2000 will provide.

If you install a hard start capacitor, the 2000 is up to the task of running your A/C.

If you find a authorized Honda dealer many of them have the Power Choice program that will let you finance for 12 months at no interest. So it would be about 190.00 a month for a year. Not a bad option if you qualify. We live in Hurricane country so having a generator is a good idea. We have a 5,000 but it is to big to haul around camping and much to loud. Good luck in your search. Outbound, tell me more about the hard start capacitor. If I'm understanding things right, the 2000 is about 1/2 the price of the 3,000.

Cane2 & Outbound Thanks. Although after a bit more research, I'm questioning the wisdom and practicality of spending that much money on a generator that I'm not sure I'll get much use out of. Somebody please convince me that it's worth it. My emotions tell me I want it but my fiscal side says no.
