Good idea, AvalancheRpod.  I'll have to get some.

When I removed the clear clips that held the venetian blinds in the down position (because they dig into ones back when sitting at the dinette), I filled the screw holes with a little dab of beige silicone caulking - you have to look pretty hard to notice it.

We also leave the door open when showering and have had no problems with water splashing out. We do monitor the shower curtain placement very closely before beginning a shower. So far so good!

I don't know about the wall, for the shower we use the curtain in the pod. It will go across the door but we leave the door open in our 171 when showering. There has been no water in the hall yet, but we keep a mat out there for when we come out.

I had assumed that it was some sort of finished panelboard product as opposed to a wallpaper that was applied at the factory.  I may be wrong tho...

Two questions:

Has anyone asked FR about obtaining a bit of the interior material that is used as the 'wallpaper'?  It would be nice to have a section to cut up or punch out to use to cover screw holes where fixtures have been removed or places that get worn or torn.  Obviously sticky stuff is preferable.

Has anyone covered the inside of the shower door with plastic or clear Contact material to prevent the unprotected wooden door from aging too fast?  Or is this not a problem?  I also wonder about water leaking out at the bottom onto the main floor (the 'hallway' in a RP-171).
