OH boy can I use this.  Just had the "walk around", took notes, haven't even gotten to the manual(s) so this would be worth a lot of bucks to me.  How can I get this info directly from my email - like one on one?
While I definite like the idea of a "forum", I'm also new to this and am finding it a bit cumbersome to keep logging in.  Then I forget where I saw the info I want to get to.  Just me, I guess.

I know -- feeling pretty overwhelmed myself.  Once I found the checklists, I printed them immediately because I knew I would lose track of their location.  And I thought I'd want to have some of them out in the Pod with me.  Also, there's an incredible number of YouTube videos out there showing you how to do just about everything!  Already made my newbie mistake by not realizing that I had Coachnet when I blew a tire on the way home from the dealer!  Cost me $60 to learn Forest River provides roadside assistance for a year.
Thanks for all the fish.

Added an item to the list for warranty info.  I was constantly looking it up so I figured it was time to stick it on the list.

What a great forum and this manual is perfect, Thanks.

Uh oh, I'm in trouble.  I will be picking up my new 178 in 10 days and driving it from Ohio to NY solo!!

I have no experience pulling a trailer and the F150 is new.   I see everyone here has a "spotter", which I don't have.   I just ordered mirror add on for the truck but am desperately trying to find a backup camera for the pod.   Any suggestions?   Does anyone back these up solo?

Thanks,

Congrats on your new 178, but a road trip is not the best time to learn how to tow a new trailer with a new 150. Towing forward should not be too hard; just make wide right hand turns and allow plenty of room when passing and stopping. Make sure the brake controller is connected and working. Stay in the right hand lane and drive at 60 MPH.

Don't try to back up. Spotters are used when backing up and backup cameras are of very little use due to the camera view angle. Call ahead and reserve campsites with pull through sites.

Backing not as hard as you think. ANY doubt where your back end is get out and look. Several in and outs not unusual. If you get all cranked around, START OVER. Try if possible to get straight and back up staight. Worst comes to worst someone will take pity and come help.
