That would be cool, even though I should be in FL this summer, if plans work out, but we will be doing Disney..... A 99 mile ride you might not even have to fill up till you get home.....too bad my truck can't do that while pulling the pod!
I'm pretty sure mine is a walmart schwinn, but when it's free who's complaining.....

A steel framed bike is best. The China made bikes at Wal-Mart tend to break at the welds.

Ok now you have done it!!!!!!!!!
Give me a site to go out and look at and the next thing I know I'm researching PA Motor Laws to see if I could ride one around up here. Sure has to be safer than the Bar Stool I had. (Got rid of it before we got hurt on it or we got ticketed) I think I will be building one. Looking for a nice Beach Cruiser on Craigslist. |

profmagickb: too bad you don't live closer. If everything works out right there are a bunch of us going on a 99 mile ride this summer. We will leave Saint Augustine heading south. Then we will be driven back to Saint Augustine. It will take 2 days because of the speed and stopping to look at things, pictures and I'm sure answering a lot of questions.

I have 2 big reasons for having the bike:
1. Gas Mileage 2. I can't bend my knees far enough to pedal a bike anymore. I always enjoyed riding a bike in the past. That was before Vietnam fixed it so I can't! Terry |

Cool wheels! Hubby and I have a tandem and a couple of recumbents we like to ride but why in the world are we doing all that peddling? |

Thanks, the pic is after much use.... not sure how an orange got in the spokes! hahaha. I have poked around on the forum you mention, but am no member. When I put the bike together I was more concerned with function rather than form, The bike is a Miller High Life sponsored bike that I won from a bar, and the engine is just a cheap one from ebay. I'm pretty sure my daughter likes the bike more than me...... she never wants to get off, but now she is getting a little big for the seat in the pic, I need to upgrade. We do enjoy the cruise. |
