Hello all!
My wife and I have been campers off and on for a couple of decades. We recently became empty nesters and decided to get back into it. My tow vehicle is a Jeep Gladiator so weight is a limitation. I also enjoy outdoor kitchens, meaning an outdoor kitchen (not a griddle mounted to the outside of the camper). We found a great deal on a 183G and made a 12 hour round trip drive to pick it up about a month ago. The "great deal" part of it was because of soft floors and a leaky garage. I knew that going into it but I'm pretty savvy when it comes to fixing things. I've already added the axle lift to get the back end up off the ground, re-sealed the trim where the rear clam shell connects (which fixed the leaky garage), added a floor support underneath, and ripped out and replaced most of the floor. Our first outing is this weekend so we are going to see how we like this little camper. Looking forward to learning and contributing here.
