Good day,
I live in Arizona, and am looking for an escape into the mountains. Any suggestions for campgrounds in Colorado? Thanks |

Colorado has been our destination every other year for the past 12 years, a great place to camp indeed! Our favorites have been (not necessarily in order of best to not as best - since we like them all) Rocky Mtn. National Park (Moraine), Black Canyon of the Gunnison N.P., Mueller State Park (back side of Pikes Peak), Ridgway S.P near Ouray and the Great Sand Dunes N.P. The rest of the time we go on BLM land in the scenic areas. Great vistas, some roads are a bit rough to get to the destination but well worth the peace and quiet.
