Slide track lube and furnace question

On my 14 year old 177 I have used a penetrant (Schaeffer's Penetro90) for the rollers on the slide.  Any 'dry slide' product that does not attract dirt works well on the slide track (The one I use was purchased at a bicycle shop for chains and does not attract dirt - contains teflon).  Lastly I recommend you keep an eye on the rubber that surrounds your slide, keep it lubricated so it doesn't crack and dry out.  The product used for this is produced by Protect All and is called 'Slide-Out Rubber Seal treatment & protectant - comes in a 17 oz. aerosol can.  More than you asked for, however these are usually done at the same time.  On the 177, rollers and rubber components are sprayed once every 2 years.  The slide track gets a shot once every 3 years.  Hope this is helpful.
