Blinds Replacement or Repair?

I have several blinds in my 192 that no longer work. I think there is a recall for the one in the front window though I've not found anything on it since I first read a snippit about it somewherel 

Is the consensus that it is just as well to replace these blinds with some other option, or to get them repaired? I'm open to either option but it seems like there would be better blinds out there somewhere to replace them with that are more easily operated.

I have replaced the string in the blinds due to breakage or the string starts to fray. It's easy to do and the replacement string is readily available.   Just a couple hours out of your daily routine to do it.

After putting up with the chintzy blinds in our 2011 177 for 10 years, they were replaced with wooden blinds from Blinds.com.  Also the curtain covering the window was replaced back in 2012 with a 2x cellular shade from the same company.  They have a plethora of choices, colors and materials to pick from.  Their customer support and help is excellent.  You may wish to check them out if replacing is on your list.
