I ran the positive wire across underneath the trailer along the axle using the existing zipties and adding some. The fenders I used for the ground. I spliced into the existing wire which ran under the trailer back to the tail lights. I used electrical tape and caulking for watertight connections. LED's are what I used they do not use much amps., you will not need to worry about overheating the existing wire if that is a need for concern.          David

Several members have now shown their fender clearance lite mods.  It appears that the wiring is coming directly out of the Pod wall.  Where exactly did you tap into the present clearance lite wire(s)?
How did you cross the Pod floor to get the wiring from one side to the other...or did you tap into different wires on each side?
I have looked at my Pod to install fender lites but am still puzzled on where to tap and how to run the wires.

Nice lights, they really look good. I have a longer mud flap that hangs down so it keeps stones, mud and spray off of the drain lines.     Goose.
