OK, a new converter solved a number of issues I've been experiencing.
1. No more overcharging the battery. Running at 13.6 volts. 2. No more spark at extension cord plug when plugging into 110 outlet. 3. No more tripping the breaker on running portable generator when an appliance is turned on.

It is a 2015 R178. No settings for different types of batteries. Thanks for feed back. Decided to just change out the converter.

Not sure what year your camper is but those voltages sound like what you would expect for a charger on the lithium setting. If your converter has settings for different battery types, make sure it is set to Pb/Lead

This scenario would indicate a faulty converter. As you correctly state, the bulk charge should be 14.4 volts. How old is your converter? If it is less than a year old, warranty should kick in, otherwise you will be in the market to replace.

I have a boiled battery. R pod was connected to house 110v outlet, and never boiled the battery before. After disconnecting the battery, I measured the voltage from converter at 15.4 volts. The bulk charge voltage should be 14.4v according to WFCO manual. Is this an indication of a bad three stage converter or is there something else going on here ??
