Looking for recommendations of on-line or brick and mortar stores to get a new short queen mattress.

We ordered ours online 12 years ago, I believe it was off eBay, I avoid Amazon like the plague.  Anyway we purchased an 8" Eurotop mattress a.k.a. mattress in a roll.  Now, after 12 years it is still very firm and just as comfortable as the day we received it.  It wasn't cheap, but it lasts a long time.

We purchased our mattress for a 192 with the hinged murphy bed. CustomMattressFactory.com has very good sales people and make a comfy mattress.   But expensive.  They custom make the size and thickness for what you want.

We got an 8" "green tea" Zinus mattress through Amazon about a year ago, along with a topper from Bedsure. We unpacked it and it filled itself to almost full in less than a day. We then flipped it over, and it finished filling itself up. It is super-comfortable; especially when compared to the original one that came with the rpod. It was a little bit cool when we put in the rpod (around 60 degrees IIRC), so we turned on the Rpod furnace to warm the interior up to close to 70 degrees.

I know other people have had issues with memory foam mattresses not filling up, and I think it comes down to (mostly) the temperature and flipping part way through.

It is on the firm side, and the topper adds just enough cushion for it not to be uncomfortable. Just the way we like it. We are both side sleepers, so it needs to have enough "give" that it does not create a pressure point. That said, we have not experienced the heat issue that is a common complaint with memory foam. Overall, we consider it a win.

we got a memory foam mattress from Costco years ago, cut about 6 or 8" off the narrow end and put it on top of the original mattress. Works fine and have hardly given it a second thought since we started using it.

We got ours from Wilderness RV Mattress about 6years ago. Not the cheapest but man is it comfortable. My wife says it is better than the mattress in our home. We love it so much we swapped mattresses when we got out new camper.

We bought this a few years ago and love it.  A real coil spring mattress.

We bought one from tochta.com a few years ago, had it made with a hinge down the middle (longways) to make it easier to make the bed. Very happy with it, super comfortable. It was around $600. They also sell sheets that are sized to the RV Queen so that they fit correctly
