Greetings everyone from South Fl....My name is Ray and wife and I purchased a 2018 179 in February and we have been on 6 camp outs so far and are having a great time in our pod. I will be taking out the dinette soon and going with a fold down couch. I look forward to read posts and learning new things. Anyone one else from down here?

Welcome and congratulations! I hope you have many fun adventures and make many great memories with your RPod 179. We did.
As for the dinette conversion, be careful. The base below the long cushion is the floor of the slide-out. Converting to a fold down couch may not be so simple. I opted for a different conversion which you can see in my mods (link in signature). We no longer have the RP179, However, my mods may give you some ideas.
