The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall of Goodyear RV tires manufactured from 1996-2003!
According to Consumer Reports, there are still some RVs out there with those tires on them! (They were never on Rpods - the release says Class A motorhomes.)

Any tires from before 2016 should be changed out anyway.

No kidding. But they're still worth $500 on recall or the cost of a new tire! |

So Goodyear will give you $500 if you can produce a never-mounted 20 year old RV tire with that model number. Bet their accountants took a $1000 reserve for that, and that's probably generous.

Not usually too many unused tires at junkyards but maybe you could find used mounted ones, get new replacement tires mounted for free, then sell those on Craigslist. Have fun on the tire treasure hunt!
