Has anyone replaced 1 of those 3 high clearance light bulbs? My 2011 RP-175 had 1 of the 3 burn out and I am hesitant to remove the spoiler /re-caulk etc if don't have to. So I set out to find a how to DIY tube and failed. I can barely find a proper name for the bulb but looks like this: Can I just pull the bulb/grommet out and have enough slack to replace it? I tried prying it out and it was real tight so I decided to wait and come here for a consult. Thanks. |

Even the prewired backup camera power in newer models taps off the clearance light circuit.

Thanks that's good to know. The camera is just below that center clearance light then, maybe a foot lower?

Yes. My dealer tapped into the center light on the spoiler to get power for my backup camera.

Heh, sometimes I forget about them too, but if you're around the back of the trailer at night with the lights on, you'll remember!

My mistake, there are three small clear 1" diameter clearance lights in the spoiler.I will tap power for my camera from them.
Thank you for pointing this out, I guess it's time to get my eyeglass prescription checked. |

There are in fact high mount clearance lights on your trailer. They are required by law. 3 lights, mounted in the spoiler.
If you do not have these, contact FR immediately. But if you go look, I am sure you will see them there. |

There are no clearance lights on the back of a 180 but there are side clearance lights that could be used.
Thanks |

Typically, backup cameras tap into the center clearance light for power.
