OK we got it now.  Very nice.  I am impressed with the lack of traffic.  What time of day did you shoot this?  Everytime we have been there it has been quite heavy with vehicular and motorcycle traffic regardless of whether it has been early (mid May) or later in the year like late September.

We'd start out about 10am and arrive somewhere around 4pm. Always attempting to make camp and eat before dark, though that didn't happen several times...

Real curious if those other videos (I linked in the post above) came through. Trying to figure out what I did different to not have them work...

None of them worked for me, but since I live about 10 miles from the Parkway I don't really need to see a video of it, I can just drive over there

Yeah, I honestly didn't try the videos either, we spend 5 months a year at Glendale Springs, about 1 minute off the BRP..

Sorry 'bout that. I shows up as I setup the post.. Both with the 'share or base' addy's... Weird..

I'll keep that in mind for future posts! The run into the Great Smokies and back north along the MABDR may be of interest to some more of ya's.

The most of the MABDR is doable for anyone, yet towing.. maybe much better to leave the camper at camp and do day ventures in the TV. You see what I mean as I continue to post up some more.

Thanks. I did not realize you had edited the original post. I was still looking at the link that was in the post at the end of page 1.

No problem at all! If you've never done the run (like us), well worth doing so!

I've taken my rpod on the Parkway numerous times and never felt it was an issue. The speed limit is really low anyway so in theory you're not holding up traffic. In practice some folks are speeding and for some reason desperate to pass rather than enjoy the ride but there are so many turnouts and overlooks that it's not really a problem. Just take your time, use a lower gear and relax.
