My two cents.  Contacted a very close friend (computer forensic tech) and asked about some of the download sites, he warned about Android Installer Packages (apks) and how they likely have embedded viruses.  He said not all of them but to not take a chance and only download from App Store.  I feel no matter what some of the sites say about InRoute working on  Android, I dont think it will.  I also have Garmin, but force it to do what RV Trip Wizard says to do.  OK, maybe that was three cents.

Happy Traveling,

Thanks. That was very helpful. I might even have paid 4 cents!

We traveled from the Seattle area to Banff and Jasper National parks and Calgary in June/July of 2017.  You will be fine taking the TransCanada Highway across the Rockies.  We traveled on 93 also as we were going between the US and Canada, but I can't remember anything uncomfortable from our time on Highway 1.

Enjoy the trip.  We had a great 2 weeks on are trip with four Canadian National Parks and the Calgary Stampede.
