Soft Floor - RPod 171

   The floor on my 171 is quite spongy in the area in front of bathroom / sink area. I assume there was a leak at some point & the foam in the floor broke down or got saturated. How concerned should I be? Will it just stay this way, or will it get to a point where the floor falls apart? Any suggestions on a mitigation for this issue?

	It's a problem, and yes, water is probably the culprit. You must be sure the leak has stopped before moving on. You may need to cut out the bad section, and try to replace it.

	First off, see if it is caused by a leak and address that. That is urgent. Then, you could see about reinforcing the floor. If there is not a cross-brace in that area, you could consider having one fabricated and installing it. See my mods or search for floor brace. You may need to use the advanced search function and expand the date range to allow for seeing older posts. The default is six months or newer.
