Shore power works great
Check convertor per manufacturer everything checks out ok. Switch to battery get low or no power. Hit light or lift and might get squawk in radio. Tested battery - full power. Installed new battery same thing happens. Checked all exposed wire connections. Acts like a short or cross wire?? 2019 R pod

There is a cross polarity or battery circuit protector in the fuse/ circuit braker panel. The fuse is green in color. 30 amp. Please check the fuse.

Also while looking at your fuse/circuit breaker panel note any red lights glowing, this will indicate a short in the corresponding fuse that will need replacement. Good idea to carry a few extra fuses of each amp size your panel has. I carry extra 5, 10, 15, 20 and 40 amp fuses. Can purchase at any auto or hardware store.

Check for voltage at the DC panel on the battery side of the 40 amp fuses when you have shore power disconnected.

If an LED is glowing and there is no fuse in the associated slot, it's probably a spare circuit. My 179 had at least two spare circuits, one of which I turned into an inverter circuit. Also,as a technicality, a fuse doesn't normally short when it burns out, it opens.

The way the blown fuse indicator works is by placing an led (with a current limiting resistor) in parallel with the fuse. So if the fuse is good the led sees no voltage and doesn't light. If the fuse blows and there is still a load on the line connected to battery negative then the led will see voltage and light. But if there is no load on the line there is no return path to battery negative for the led so it w wont light. So if you see a red led then the fuse is blown. If you don't see a red led then the fuse may or may not be blown depending on the status of the load on that circuit. That's when having either great eyesight or a multimeter is handy.
