Is it normal to have extremely low water pressure when running water from water tank?
We just bought our first camper - rpod 182g. We recently camped at a koa with hook ups and I took a great shower. We usually do not camp with hook ups. Every shower since has been trickling down the shower wall. Perhaps the pump isn’t as strong as I was hoping. |

Could you please let us know if this situation repeats itself when you are using water from the FW tank. Also how is the pressure when you use the H and C at the sink and at the outside shower if you have one? There is a good chance that the screen in your shower head is plugged with debris. Take it apart and see if that may be the case.

Thanks for your help! It is consistent when using water from FW tank. Pressure is pretty good at sink and excellent at outdoor sink. I will check the shower head, however, the previous owners never used the shower 🤔
Is it normal to have better pressure overall when hooked up to water? We do have a pressure regulator if that means anything. |

it might be higher pressure when connected to city water but it should be fine on the pump too. You don't have the little shutoff valve on the shower head closed by any chance do you?

Sounds like the screen at the shower may be clogged. This is quite common for the faucet at the kitchen sink; maybe not quite as often for the shower.

My read is that when hooked up to city water the shower pressure is fine, but not so much when using the FW tank/pump. Cadeeli, did I get that right?

Is it possible that the screen/filter in the pump itself is clogged?

I think it would always have a pressure issue. Not be good in city water and bad on the water pump. The water pump itself could be the issue.

On ours, between the pressure restrictor and the water filter on the city water connection, we get better water pressure in the shower with the water pump.
