Is it hard to replace my shower pan or should I use flex seal?

Yes, replacing the shower pan is quite a task.  You will need to remove the wall paneling (the pan extends up behind the panels).  It can be done, but work carefully so you don t break your wall panels.
The problem with using flex seal is that it doesn’t  prevent further cracking.
Also, be careful disconnecting the drain pipe.  You certainly don’t want to break that.

One of the first things I learned on this forum was to reinforce the shower floor.

Crw8sr,
Been thinking about doing the same thing.  Did you get under the pan from the front?
Don’t shower in there often, but would like to prevent cracking when I do😂

Took the vent grill off at the shower floor, inserted wood scraps with construction adhesive.

Thank you Chuck.  I will certainly do that.  I think some dense foam strips may also work.
