What kind of tow vehicle do you have? I have a Highlander and found a short step ladder that barely but perfectly fits in the back tucked into the wheel wells. 4 feet is plenty to get up high enough to see what you're doing. I think it was this one:

We saw one RV owner who carried a leaf blower with him to just blow everything off the top of his slide-outs. He had a large RV and multiple slides as well as tall ladder. We own a Ryobi battery operated air tire inflator that I always carry in my truck. I find myself wondering if one could add an extension hose and an extended air tip and get enough pressure to blow off the slide? It puts out enough pressure to fill car tires to pressure, why not? I’m going to have to take this up with my husband as an idea. May be too low velocity, but I’m going to find out.

The best answer (in my opinion) is what I use: a 10 foot telescoping ladder, it will easily store in the back of an SUV or pickup. It might even fit in your r-pod storage area, depending on how full it is already!
I dont have a slide but there are those times when I need to access the roof of the r-pod or clean off the solar panels on the r-pod or the pickup topper shell.

I understand that I should brush off the slider before I retract it when leaving a campsite. However, ladders don’t fit in the RPod nor my tow vehicle. Do you have any suggestions?
