My manufacturer-installed tongue jack is worn out and busted.  When I go through a dip in the road or off-roading with my rPod, it bottoms-out and scrapes.  Does anyone have a recommendation on a brand/model that I can install?  I'm looking for an electric one that retracts quite a bit so I don't run into the same problem again.  Thanks!
Matt

We bought this one through Amazon and it works fine for our Sonoma:  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00M6MF6S6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The rPod dimensions and weights are about the same.  I put a similar one on our old 172 and it also worked just fine.

I bought this one in 2016 and it has been reliable. The one key is to make sure it is grounded to the frame since only one wire supplies power. The frame is the other connection back to the battery. although it looks from the picture like a second wire might have been added since I purchased ours.

Seems like they all extend down about 10" from the frame in the fully retracted position.  Anyone know of a lower-profile one, or is that about standard?

I'll have to measure mine. It has to have a long enough tube to both hold the moving parts and to stabilize them. A short tube would be weak. From what I see, about all of them have the same outer tube length. I retract mine fully before traveling and I do have a Husky Brute Super Foot on it (although I did have to cut the extension tube in half to suit our driveway). Before I put that on, I pull the pin on the round foot and push it in as far as I could before re-pinning it. I did not like the way it dug in to some soft blacktop once as the edge of the round foot is not rolled up so it had an edge that dug in.
