When camping with family members, we use our porch light as a signal. Turn it on when we go in for the night and turn it off when we get up. Easy Peasy!

Welcome! What RPod do you own? We have a 2016 RPod 179 which we bought in December, 2015. I hope you have many fun adventures and make many great memories.

Your camping neighbors may not appreciate your light shining in their bedroom.

I agree that porch lights shouldn't be left on at night, although it might depend on the campground. If the campground is full of streetlights, who cares, but if it's a place that gets dark, darkness is one of the things a lot of people really enjoy about camping. TT

We camp in provincial parks in Ontario. There is lot of space between sites and never interfere with the enjoyment of other people. Like I said, we do this when camping with family.

We have a 171. We have been busy tweaking it to our liking and are almost finished. We are really looking forward to camping this year. Only provincial parks for us.

I think our travel plans for this year are pretty much not going to happen (trip to Alaska). However, I do look forward to some local trips and very possibly, a longer trip to see our daughters and grandchildren, circumstances permitting.

We are hopeful that by May we can get back on schedule.. But we have already had to cancel 2 weeks of camping..
With the ever changing shape and scope of the situation, lt does appear some driveway camping is in order.. The FB group is setting up a "distributed group campout" for next month.. |
