Hi all,

I have bought a new 2020 R-pod 190, but while taking delivery last night, I ran into a problem with its 7-pin connector.

The problem is that the R-pod’s connector did not fit into my tow vehicle’s CURT Bluetooth brake controller.  The connector just did not go fully in, and did not latch in.

The brake controller itself seems to be ok.  Earlier I have used the same brake controller with a 2018 R-pod 182g without a problem.  Another RV’s connector also did fit into the brake controller. However, the connector of none of the R-pods on the lot fit into it. The tech from dealership tried multiple times. So the problem seems to be specific to Rpod.

Has anyone else noticed this problem with 2020 model’s connectors?

Thanks,

- Atul

Don't have one, but did you get to pairing mode? Curious if it's running at all?

Yes, its app on my iPhone did that pairing rather easily. However the problem is physical connection. In any case, the dealer has now replaced the connector cable to a compatible one. So hopefully the problem has been solved.
