Hello everyone just bought an rpod 2 days ago the 171 2010 pick it up 4 hours away when I was 25 minutes from home a cop pulled me over said the running lights weren't working but didn't give me a ticket and told me to go home with the flashers on
When I stopped for gas I had a wire brush and I cleaned out some corrosion in the trailer connector and everything worked fine any case this is our big huge Christmas present to ourselves although we'll have to winterize and look forward to next spring We are in Alabama spring comes a little earlier down here but a warm hello to everybody in the Forum |

Congratulations and welcome! I hope you have many fun adventures and make many great memories doing so. We have enjoyed our 179 very much and have many miles on it. This year has been lighter due to my wife getting a new knee in February which kept us at home for a greater part of the camping season. I am oping we can get a local trip in this month and a trip to Florida to visit my parents in November. Then it will be time to winterize and wait for next year's trip we are planning to take to Alaska.

Welcome aboard from northern MI. Hopefully you will have a few more weeks to enjoy in your area. We have 2 more outings scheduled that go to nearly the end of October but after that it will be time to winterize and plan for 2020. Make many good memories and if there are ??? then you have a 24/7 owners manual here to help, as well as the folks on the FB owners group as well.

Hi Folks,
We are new to travel trailer camping, and are excited about our new 178. So far we have done two weekends with it this fall. Its been great reading on this forum, quite helpful and hopefully we can payback as we learn more and get experienced! We are located in Connecticut. Empty nesters looking to experience lots of new places now that we have our mobil hotel as my wife likes to call it!
