I'll be at Sturgis this year...Glencoe Campground....

If I see any other r-pods, I will be amazed!

Of course, I will be looking at other things in amazement, also.

Greetings:
Enjoy yourself at Sturgis.  When I was riding I spent about a half day at the rally.  Anyone visiting the hills during the rally:  Expect to pay 3 or 4 times normal rate for everything.  It's the largest single event in the State.  I prefer to visit when it's not so crowded.  The last time I was in the hills was 2 years ago in June.  I always stay in the Custer area, and there were 2 other pods beside mine in the park.  I parked the pod for 7 days and took day trips.

Well I saw one r-pod leaving Glencoe today, it was too far off and passed by too quickly for me to take a picture....it was green, and was a slide model so now I can say I saw one besides mine here in the Black Hills!

Love the BH... But want no part of the Sturgis stuff. Just too crowded for me. But Custer SP is just awesome!

Go north to Reva SD and camp for free in Custer NF. We were there on Thursday for one night(no amenities...boondocking). Went to Deadwood on Friday and camped in Custer SP that night before heading to the Badlands on Sat morning. saw a Blue 189 there before heading home for TN. That's the only Pod we saw on our 4,000 mile trip.

Boondocking in Custer:
