Here is a picture of the ones I put in:
They were salvaged off my original Dometic and work fine.  They get a little dusty out here in Nowhere so every so often I have to dust them off.  I originally installed them in the regular fan circuit, but it was too much for the teenytiny fuse.  Now they are on their own circuit with a manual switch.  I should get fancy and put a relay in, but that's too much like work.

If you install any type of 12v computer or muffin fan in the condenser (upper) compartment it makes a BIG difference in cooling effectiveness.

There are pre-made kits, or you can 'DIY' something.

For power, I tapped in to the 12v element leads in the lower compartment, and installed the fan in the upper compartment, facing outward.

I installed an 85 degree snap-switch thermostat and also a manual switch on mine.

It makes a huge difference, especially when the fridge vents are facing the sun in the afternoon, and seems to reduce the amount of propane used.

I’m looking for ideas to add a fan to the refrigerator compartment. We had a hard time keeping our refrigerator cold in our most recent trip when it was above 90°.   We also plan to get a slide topper.
