You'll need a genny to run the air conditioner for more than a few minutes. You'd need about 10 golf cart batteries and a couple of hundred square foot solar array to do it otherwise. For light duty use for ac power to your outlets you can get a 1 or 2 kw inverter, connect that to your batteries,  and charge those from solar. How much solar you need will depend on what you want to run and for how long. One thing to consider with the generator is whether the campgrounds you stay in will let you run it during the times you want to for your A/C cooling. Most campgrounds have quiet hours.

We have purchased a 2017 20' RPod and have taken it out once--and a wonderful time in Rabbit Valley, Colorado. We imagine that will be mostly camp off-grid which means we have to figure out the best way to get A/C and outlet electricity. Any ideas out there from you veterans? Does solar do that, do we need a generator? TIA
