We just got a used RPod Hood River Edition.
We're trying to take out the mattress to clean the pad. The thing is so stiff that it can't be bent to remove. Has anybody else had this problem and figured out what how to deal with it?

Sure the mattresses are stiff but you can fold it up, just be sure you tell it who's the boss. Once you get it out you might want to consider replacing it with something more comfortable....

Might not be the original mattress. We've been able to fold ours to move it out of the way, and it's the original.

thanks. We got it out but, whoah!
It is 6 inches of cone foam rubber and 3 inches of blue rubber on top. It has a zipper cover, and then another zipper cover over that. (I just mention that in case somebody else has a similar mattress and is curious what we dealt with.

That does not sound like the OEM mattress. Glad you got it out.
