Thanks Guys for the help. In the fall, I used the pump and loaded the sys with at least 3-4 gal of the pink stuff. A couple of weeks ago I drained the fresh tank, added a little Clorox, pumped it through the sys. Re drained the fresh tank, added fresh water and pumped that through all valves. So the other day, got it home and hooked up shore power, 1 hrs later, went out to the Pod and found the pump running for no reason. Got power because its running. Today checked the filter, LOADED with white plastic shavings. Took two screws out of the pressure switch and got some water, but nothing great. Started the third screw and the Dam Broke, the flood started. Guess the pressure in the hot water tank blew back towards the pump. Lesson learned again about the hot water heater having air pressure. ( see another post about me getting wet) OK started the pump and it shut off. It's now working and I didn't fix anything. Now I wonder if I have water inside the pressure switch. Never got it off to check any of the gaskets, but water did come out the screw holes when I removed two of them. Well time will tell.

Did my un-winterize today and got all the pink stuff out. Hurray, though the Sierra is full of snow, we're over our hard freeze time here in the Carson Valley so we'll just dip below freezing, maybe into the 20's for a few hours. Nothing that my little electric space heater can't handle in keeping the pipes nice and warm - with open drawers and cabinets to let the air in.

One thing to remember when you get your pink stuff out: When you fill your water heater, don't forget to burp it. Like a baby, it gets full of "gas" and you need to let it all out or it'll be unhappy and spit on you when you try to use the hot water.

Never leave footprints behind.

And a little baking soda mixed in will help remove the residual antifreeze taste. I do that after I do the chlorine tank sanitizing to help remove the chlorine aftertaste also.
