Hey Furpod,
There seems to be a problem with editing posts.  Everytime I try to make a new paragraph in existing text by hitting the return key where I want the new paragraph to start, it erases several lines of text.  The text can be recovered by undoing the return key stroke, but it leaves it impossible to make paragraphs in previously typed text.  Any idea what is going on?

Not a clue. Have not seen it myself.. I would suspect "lag" somewhere between "here and there".. Either way, it's currently above my pay grade either way.

Thanks for getting back on this.  It happened before, then stopped for a while.  It's been a little cold here to sacrifice chickens on the Webber lately.  Maybe that's the problem.  Confused

Sounds like a browser malfunction. Try a different browser and/or clear your cache.

Trying it here, and it's working correctly.

I'm using google.  I'll try clearing the history.  Thanks for the suggestions.

You mean Chrome? Not the history, but the cache (Ctrl - Shift - Backspace :: it will pop up a window and give you options). Otherwise try Firefox, IE, Edge, or Safari.

No, I use the old google via safari, it doesn't seem to be as intrusive as Chrome, which makes me feel like they're trying to set up a camera in my bedroom.  I have a macbook so the control/shift/backspace really doesn't do anything, at least that I can see.

My low tech solution is to copy the post into word if I need to make any significant changes, then past it back into the forum when I'm ready.

Eeesh. I thought Macs were supposed to be easier. A few months ago I switched to a chromebook, and it makes operating a Mac look like rocket science. I never cottoned to Macs, we had a rough early introduction back in 1990 or thereabouts, and I never tried one again. I've been using PCs and Linux boxen ever since. The chromebook makes the day-to-day dirt simple, but gives me my Linux fix under the covers if I feel it's necessary.

I think you should still be able to use Firefox on a Mac. and... there should still be a way to clear the cache in Safari.
